Neither with flowers
nor with smiles
let alone small surprises
Many of the time
not a thing came out of your sweet lips
I could hardly tell
what was in your mind
Once or twice I begged my heart
to set me free
and vanish from your side
What could I say
my heart told me to stay
How did I know
you were the one
Well, I did not
God provided me with the dictionary of love
which translated your deeds
into meaningful messages
that led the way
into my heart

The Rainbow
It's grey and a bit dark over here. It might be somewhat dull for some of us. I myself find it fine.
Sometimes I peep out, get acquainted with unfamiliar colours outside my shell. I love the rainbow I see through my friends' words. So lovely to see this world through their eyes.
I might not be able to share my everyday life as warmly and openly as my friends do. Anyhow, I try my best to enrich their world as much as they enrich mine.

Spread the love
Spread the love, that's the message my dear friend Svonko told me as he presented me with two lovely awards. For this award,
I'd like to spread the love to Fanda, Mbak Reni and Mas Yudie. Our friendship is very dear to me.
As for this one,
I'd love to share it with Mrs Irontius Lou, Hannilemon, Amrita and Vk-mahalkaayo. Though we've known each other quite recently, I do enjoy our new friendship.
I'd like to thank Fanda as well for the special award she gave me
(I'm thankful that the same award was given to me by Mbak Reni and Henny), and Fanda still have four other awards for me. Thank you, Fanda!

I'd also like to give my thanks to Mbak Reni for this special award she gave me,
and for these ones as well.

For this specific award,
I'd like to invite my friend Sidik Nugroho si Tuan Malam to share it with me.
Thank you my dear friends, may our friendship last forever. I'll see you on the next posts!

The words

Paddling towards the dreamland
a couple
thinking they'd known each other by heart
too proud to ask
too ignorant to tell
sweated to death and reached nowhere
Weren't they once sweethearts
kissed and hugged
and set the words aside
Love seemed more than anyone could ask
As the romance faded away
and sentences were precious more than ever
where were the words they needed most

No Regrets
There are times when I long to be me
a simply plain woman
acting and speaking like ordinary women do
Time and time again, I ask myself
if I could start all over again
would I make the same choices
either yes or no
I do not know
Ask me not about happiness
I am lost in translation
happy or unhappy
can be a sheer state of mind
life is way too short to waste on regrets
So I move on
knowing not what lies ahead
simply putting my faith on Thy loving hands
waiting to hear Thee calling me by name

The tiny little baby

The tiny little baby
was welcomed by grief
Cries and moans
were amid the first sounds
to the tiny ears
Drops of tears
gently fell on the tiny pinky cheeks
as the mother delivered a long, heartbreaking kiss
The warm arms
and the pure love of the mother
should be sufficient
for the tiny little sweetheart
As the father
all of a sudden
was gone in a blast
at JW Marriot Hotel
the very day before the tiny little baby's birth

You and I

For me it's blue,
for you it's a colour
For me it's the beauty of a sunset,
for you it's a scenery
For me it's wonderful,
for you it's proportional
For me it's awful,
for you it's improper
For me it's music,
for you it's a bunch of notes
For me it's a comfort,
for you it's an appropriate situation
You and I,
are we on the same page
You and I,
anyway, I like it that way
